Waterford Ownership

Waterford at Blue Lagoon is owned by Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association (TIAA). TIAA is the guaranteed - income component of the nationwide TIAA-CREF pension system for higher education. With combined assets of over $400 billion, TIAA-CREF is the largest private pension system in the United States. TIAA has provided the funding for the master planning and development of Waterford since its inception in 1988. TIAA currently owns 1.4 million square feet in six Class A office buildings and also owns land and development rights for an additional 1.5 million square feet of office space. All of the buildings are leased and managed by The Hogan Group.
